Before you can open an Author-it library, you must assign a license to it. License allocation is completed in Author-it Administrator.
- If you don't have a library with a license assigned to it (for example, if you're installing Author for the first time) use a license file to assign a license to your main library.
- If you already have a library with a license assigned to it, you can use that library to assign a license to a different library.
In addition, you have the option to allocate License tokens for specific users or groups. This allows you to reserve tokens for users, or alternatively restrict token use.
