You can edit the information that appears in a variable at any time.
To edit a variable:
- Open the Library using Author-it Administrator.
- Go to Variables > Maintain Variables from the main menu. The variables window appears.
- Select a variable and:
- Click the Properties button to display its properties.

- Right-click and click Properties.
-or-
- Double-click the variable.
The variable default settings window opens.
- Click the Properties button to display its properties.
- Make your changes.
- Click OK to save the changes to the variable.
