Timestamp settings enable you to decide whether applying a release state to an object triggers a change to the "Modified Date". Timestamp settings are found in the Administrator under Settings > Timestamp Settings.
When you want the modified date to change when the release state is changed, select the first option. This is the default setting used by the timestamp. Select the second option when you don't want the modified date to change.
