Creating an HTML file object

To create an HTML file object:

1. Create a new file object based on the correct template, for example:

   • Linked HTML Audio File Template for audio files

   • Linked HTML Video File Template for video files

   • Linked HTML Animations File Template for animations

2. Add a description for the file object.

3. Open the Web tab of the file object.

   

4. In the Filename field, add the HTML filename. This item is the name of the HTML file that you created in Notepad.

   

5. Click the double arrow button, and then add your video, audio, or animation file as an 'additional file.' Be sure you add all files referenced in the HTML.

6. To save the changes and close the file object, click OK.

7. Insert the file object into the topic of your book.
