Who can use the profiles?
Your library contains a new Publishing Profiles folder. This enables you to add security - through folder permissions and/or release states - to restrict which users can publish to a particular profile. You can also restrict which users can create and modify, or delete profiles.
Author-it comes with default publishing profiles - one for each output type. The default publishing profiles are stored in: "Restricted / Publishing Profiles". You can customize these profiles or create your own profiles to meet your needs. Store your customized profiles in "Standards / Publishing Profiles".
When you attempt to publish a book, Author-it lists the relevant profiles available to you for that book, rather than the output types.
