The course example above has two assessments, as we can see from the "assessment_#" values.
-
Possible values for assessment completion are:
First field: Final score earned on assessment (0-100%)
-
If an assessment allows retakes, and the user failed the first try, that initial score is not recorded. Only the final score is recorded.
Second field: Number of times this assessment was completed
-
1 - User earned a passing score the first time they took the assessment.
-
2 - If an assessment allows a retry, and the user failed the first try, then a 2 is recorded here when they retake the assessment.
Third field:
-
0 – assessment not yet completed
-
1 – assessment passed
-
2 – assessment failed
-
-
The yellow highlighted values identify that the first assessment has not been completed.
-
The green highlighted values identify that the first assessment has now been completed. (Score of 100 was achieved on the second try and that was a passing score.)
-
The pink highlighted values identify that the second assessment has now been completed. (Score of 50 was achieved on the first try and that was a failing score - retry was not an option.)
-
More information on building assessments is documented in Building knowledge assessments.
-
The Scorm control settings described in Course Completion Criteria do not change how assessment values are recorded.
