Adding external resource files

The Chrysalis output allows for adding resource files to the presentation.

To configure this feature to work, proceed as follows:

1. Create a new file object based on a linked HTML file object template.

2. Enter the Description.

3. Open the Web tab, Linked HTML sub tab.

   

4. Click the >> button.

5. Click Add.

6. Navigate to and select the required file.

7. Click Open.

8. Link to other files in the same way.

9. Click OK to save and close the file object.

10. Add this file object to any standard slide in your book. It does not display anything in the published output so does not affect the slide content. It just has to be present somewhere in the presentation book.

    On publishing, the chosen files are copied to the publish folder along with all the presentation files, and as such are available for use with the presentation.
