The Xtend tab customizes the Xtend settings.
Minimum number of words typed before suggesting
Sets the least number of words that need to match before Authoring Memory begins returning suggestions. Choose from values between 3 words and 20 words. To display more suggestions, set a lower number.
Maximum number of suggestions
Sets the maximum number of suggestions that will be displayed in the reuse popup. Choose values between 3 and 100.
Only suggest fragments with a percentage match of at least
Sets the minimum level of similarity required before a suggestion is displayed in the reuse popup. Choose a percentage between 10 and 100.
Weighting ratio
Use the slider to choose the type, and level, of ratio match you want to use.

Fuzzy matching looks at the similarity of the fragments and makes a comparison based on words common to both fragments and on the order in which they appear in both fragments.

Relevance matching looks at the similarity of the fragments and makes a comparison based on words common to both fragments. Relevance matching does not take into account the order of the words. Relevance matching returns a larger number of suggestions, but they may be less suitable.
Text fragment highlighting
Displays the highlighting bands used by Authoring Memory to indicate reused content and levels of similarity between fragments. Highlighting colors can be modified, and additional user-defined fuzzy match bands can be added.
