Configure an Author-it library

This section will help you set up a working environment in Author-it. For most steps you need administration permissions.

1. Create and manage users and user groups.

2. Set up a folder structure in Author, folder structure in Author.

3. Set up release states, release states.

4. Set up authorization for folders and release states. 

5. Set up variables, variables and variants.

6. Set up object templates, media objects, styles and publishing profiles.

7. Set your user options and customize the style toolbar in the editor.
