Security Administrators modify permissions for a folder through its properties.
Note: The option to modify a folder's permissions is available when a user has the Security Administration option selected in the Folder Action Permissions window.

To modify folder permissions from the properties window:

In Author, right-click the folder you want to update, and then click Properties.

In the Folder Properties window, click the Permissions tab.

Select Users or Groups, and then, from the drop-down list, click the user or group.

Add or remove check marks for the appropriate permissions, and then save the changes.
Note: User permissions shown with blue headings are inherited from the user's group. Change this type of permission through the group's permissions, or remove the user from the current group and add him or her to a different group.
