Delete customized release states for objects when you no longer need them.
To delete a release state:
- Open the library in Author, then select File > Release States to open the Release State window.
- Select the user or group for whom you want to delete a release state.
- Right-click the release state you want to delete and click Delete State.
If the release state is not in use, it is deleted, otherwise a message informs you how many objects are in that state. - Click OK to save your changes.
