To rename a release state:
- Open the library in Author, then select File > Release States to open the release state window.
- Select the user or group for whom you want to rename a release state.
- Right-click the release state you want to rename and click Rename State. The rename state window opens.
- Type the new name of the release state, then click OK. The window closes and the renamed state appears in the list.
- Click OK to save your changes.
