Rules for front and back matter are preset in the structure builder, allowing one instance and using a fixed sequence. When you complete the rule you need to update the allowed objects list, then move the rule to the appropriate location in the structure builder.
Content or style guide rules
- The product guide will be published to PDF so it must always include a title page and a table of contents.
- The title page must always be the first "content" in the published document, and should always be followed by a table of contents.
- The Standard Title Page object and the Standard Table of Contents object should be used because they have the correct settings for this book.
Structure rules
- Rule 1: Title Page Rule
One title page object must be added to the book. Location sequence is Fixed - must be added as first object in the book. Allowed object - Standard Title Page object.
- Rule 2: Table of Contents Rule
One table of contents object must be added to the book. Location sequence is Fixed - must be added directly after the title page. Allowed object - Standard Table of Contents object.
