Create a book in Library

Add and manage content

Creating a book in Library is simpler and faster than creating one in Author, making it ideal for contributors who need to create books, but don't need to use the advanced features in Author.

  1. Select Library on the Primary navigation.
  2. Select a folder that you have permission to create books in.
  3. Click Create a new book.
  4. Enter the book title.
  5. Select a book template.
  6. If the book template has other objects inside it (such as topics) select which of those objects will be reused, duplicated, or removed from the new book.

    Note: Some objects may be set up so that you must reuse or duplicate them. You won't be able to select those objects.

  7. Click Create Book.
