When you add an Index Entry object to an Index object, you establish a relationship between the objects.
To add an Index Entry to an index:
- Open the Index object. Make sure that you can see the Index Entries tab.
- Create a new Index Entry object, or drag an existing entry onto the Index Entries tab.
- When you create a new Index Entry object, it is added to the list in alphabetical order.
- When you drop an Index Entry object onto an empty area in the tab, it is added to the list in alphabetical order.
- When you drop an Index Entry object onto another entry, it is added as a child of that entry.
- You can use the arrows on the toolbar to change the relationships among the objects.
- Save your changes to the Index object.
