The Author Editor works like most word processors. When working with text, you select the content before you can apply formatting styles, delete text, or copy text. There are several ways to select text.
To select a continuous range of text by using the mouse:

A large block of text | Click at the beginning of the selection, scroll to the end of the selection, hold down the SHIFT key and click |
