These controls may be familiar because they're used in many Windows-based programs. Windows controls found on the Properties window include:
- Drop-down list: A mutually exclusive list of options from which you can choose.
- Check boxes: An on/off setting. If the check box is ticked, that property is ON. If it is blank, then it is OFF.
- Text properties: A standard text box in which you can type information.
- Option button: Similar to a drop-down list, it provides two or three mutually exclusive options from which to choose.
