Author-it On-Premises will continue to be developed and have updates released. We expect this to be in the range of 1-3 updates per year.
Not all functionality in Author-it Cloud will be available in Author-it On-Premises.
There is significantly more development and testing involved in releasing updates for Author-it On-Premises due to the variety of client infrastructure and environments, therefore Author-it On-Premises updates will always lag behind Author-it Cloud updates.
