All customer data, except data in each author’s Publishing folders, is backed up.
We perform the following backups:
- Author-it Database - Weekly on-site. The last 4 weeks are kept.
- Files – Daily on-site. The last 7 days are kept.
We use real-time, inter-site data replication to enable a fail over option in the unlikely event that the data center that is hosting your library becomes unavailable.
Note: Off-site replication may carry additional costs, depending on your level of Author-it Cloud subscription and the location of the data center.
