Linking tab

The Linking tab defines information used when linking to this topic in the published Windows Help system from other sources.

Define an alias for a help topic. Use this alias when linking in to your help file.

Define an alternative context string for the topic. By default, the context string is the Object Code of the topic prefixed with the letter "O", for example, "O123". Use this context string when linking in to your help file.

Define an alternative context ID for the topic. By default, the context ID is the Object Code of the topic. Use this context ID when linking into your help file. The Context ID field supports 50 numeric characters.
