Creating the resources folder

To create the resources folder:

  1. Create your own folder with the name 'resources' in a central network location or in a folder in the Author-it Files application. For more information about files in Author-it Cloud, see the Author-it Knowledge Center.
  2. Add the resource files to this folder.
  3. Create a new file object based on the Linked HTML Resources File Template.
  4. Enter the Description.
  5. Click the Web tab, and then click the Linked HTML sub tab.

  6. Click the >> button.
  7. Click Add.
  8. Navigate to your resources folder and select a file.
  9. Click Open.
  10. Click Edit.

  11. Remove the filename; it should only link to your 'resources' folder.
  12. Click OK to save and close the file object.

Note: The name of the folder with files that you copy, must be: 'resources.'
