Every footer topic shows a table at the start of the topic. This table reflects the page setup. PDF ProCSS publishing allows for 5 different footer element places in one footer. The rest of the table has a grey background. You can add contextual information here but remember, this won't publish. A footer definition is only possible for the bottom part of the page.
Every footer topic has an image embedded. This image explains the location of the footer areas. The exact position of the cells on the page depend on the definition of the margins in the media object. The position of the bottom-center area can be modified in the CSS.
You can add footer information in different ways:
- Insert a file object like a logo in one of the cells.
- Type text.
- Embed a topic.
- Use one of the building blocks as listed in the footer topic. These building blocks can contain references to the book Print properties, styles, etc.
