Control automation in the slide show using variable values for transition timings and effects. The variables are included in the HTML templates and resolved during publishing. Variable values are set at topic level (slide), book (presentation), or library level.
- Slide transition timing determines the time the slide appears for in seconds before moving on to the next slide.
- Item transition styles determines which styles are treated as items. Paragraphs using these styles display one at a time.
- Item transition timing determines the length of time each item appears for, in seconds, before moving on to the next item or slide.
- PresentationAutoStart defines whether a slide show presentation starts with auto progression on or off.
If PresentationAutoStart is set to on the slide show automatically starts. If it's set to off, just click the Play button on the Control bar and the variables take care of the rest.
When you're ready to stop the slide show click on the Stop button.
