Slide transitions times - On Premises 7

The transition times between slides and between items appearing on a slide are set by assigning variables to the presentation book, to apply to the whole presentation. These can be overridden for individual slides if required.

The variables used for this are:

This variable:	Sets the:
< SlideTransitionTime >	time delay (in seconds) between slides. If you have a narration audio on a slide, you can set this to 0 and the slide will remain on screen for the duration of the audio.
< ItemTransitionTime >	time delay (in seconds) between items appearing on the slide. If you want all items to appear at the same time, set this to 0.

To set the transition times for the whole presentation

Select the book (but do not open it).
Choose right-click > Variables > Show variable assignments.
In the left window, select the < SlideTransitionTime > variable by clicking it once, and then click .
In the Value field, enter a number of seconds for the transition time between slides.
Click OK twice.
To set the item transition time, repeat this process for the < ItemTransitionTime > variable.

To set the transition times for individual slides

Select the level 1 slide topic (but do not open it).
Choose right-click > Variables > Show variable assignments.
In the left window, select the < SlideTransitionTime > variable by clicking it once, and then click .
In the Value field, enter a number of seconds for the transition time for this slide.
Click OK twice.
To set the item transition time for this slide, repeat this process for the < ItemTransitionTime > variable.
