You can insert a video, audio, or animation file in the HTML based output by embedding a piece of HTML code that links to the multimedia file. To publish correctly, Author-it must know where to find the file that contains the HTML code and where to find the video, audio, or animation files.
The multimedia file can exist on an external network location, that you and the Author-it library can access, or it can reside in the Author-it Files repository. For more information about file objects in Author-it Cloud, see the Author-it Knowledge Center.
You can use a file object to create the relationship between the HTML code and the video file, and then insert the file object in a slide topic.
