Use the browser inspector - On Premises 6.4

Magellan

All browsers have a DevTools console where you can highlight all the different parts of a web page and identify the css elements. Use the inspector to identify css elements in the mainstyles.css and Contentstyles.css to update.

Pro Tip: If you want to learn and understand more about css the W3schools site is a good starting point.

To use the browser inspector:

Note: This procedure is for Chrome, but it will be very similar for other browsers.

  1. Open the Magellan page that contains the item you want to change.
  2. Press F12 to open the inspector.
  3. Select the Inspector icon on the toolbar.
