Understand the site structure - On Premises 6.4

Magellan

Understanding the site structure provides a good starting point to find elements in the css files.

A site structure has two modes:

  • Landing page mode
  • Content page mode

Each mode has several named sections - shown in red in the following images - that are divided into components for different information. For example, the HEADER section displays in both modes and has three components - Logo, Search (not used in Landing page mode) and Icons.

The mainstyles.css follows the same section naming, so providing a starting point for locating the css element for a screen item.
