When you are working in the container topic, you can add new content above an embedded topic by using the methods described below for specific scenarios.
When the embedded topic has non-embedded content above it
Make your adjustments to the non-embedded content in the container topic as you normally would.
When the embedded topic has another embedded topic above it
When there are two embedded topics, one directly following the other, delete the second embedded topic, make your adjustments, and then re-embed the topic that you deleted.
When the embedded topic is a table and is the first content in the container topic
When the first content in the container topic is an embedded table, and you need to make normal space available above it, put the cursor at the start of the first cell and press ENTER. For more information see Adding Content Above an Embedded Table.
For all other embedded content
Delete the embedded topic, modify the container content, and then re-embed the embedded topic that you deleted.
