When publishing content containing variables, a message displays in the Publish Log file for any variable that has not resolved to a value. The message shows the variable name and details for the affected object.
In the following examples, the topic Employment Contract (using Object ID 734) contains the variable HR_Employee. When the book was published this variable had not been given a value resulting in an empty string.
