To make sure that the new footer topic is used as a footer for the PDF ProCSS output, you must connect it to the Media objects of your book.

Connect a footer topic to a media object:

  1. Open the Media object and select the Print tab, Footers sub tab.
  2. Click Modify Footers.

  3. In the Autotext name field, type the name (description) of the footer topic.

    Important: Type the name exactly as the topic description. If there is an error in the name, the footer will not be published.

  4. In the Type list, select Footer, and then click Add.
  5. Click OK to save your changes.
  6. Select the footer name from the list for the First, Odd and Even pages.

  7. Click OK to save your changes.
