Contribute

Topics and objects can be removed from the book's contents by using the Remove option.

Note: When you remove a parent topic, its child topics are also removed from the book. If you want to remove a parent topic without removing child topics, promote the child topics to the same level as the parent, and then remove the original parent topic.

To remove a topic from a book:

  1. Open the book in the Book Contents pane.
  2. To put the book into Edit Mode, click the closed padlock button on the Book Contents Toolbar.
  3. Right-click the topic in the book contents, and then in the shortcut menu click RemoveFrom Book.
  4. Save the changes to the book.
