You can delete an entire table in Contribute. When you choose this option, all of the information contained in the table is also deleted from the topic.

When selecting a table for deletion, you must select the table borders as well as the content. The easiest way to do this is to sweep the cursor over the table, starting from outside the right border on the last cell up to the left border on the first cell.

Note: Avoid sweeping the cursor from the final paragraph marker in the line before the table down to the right border on the last cell. This will delete the paragraph marker and affect your topic text.

As an alternative to deleting the entire table, you can delete individual columns and rows.

To delete a table:

  1. Open the topic containing the table.
  2. Select the table by moving the cursor over the table from the right border on the last cell up to the left border on the first cell.
  3. Press the DELETE key on the keyboard to remove the table from the topic.
