When modifying a table, you will sometimes need to remove an entire column.

Warning: When you delete columns from a table, the information (text or image) contained in the column is also deleted.
To delete a column from a table:
- Open the topic containing the table.
- Move the cursor to a cell in the column to be deleted.
- Click the Delete Column button on the Table Toolbar, or right-click inside the cell and click Delete Column from the shortcut menu.
