The variant criteria and filter have different uses in the Editor in Author and the Translation Job window in Localize.
- Author: In the Editor, the criteria are used to filter and view your source or translated content while you're working in a book. Single selection within a group is used in the Editor for filtering, viewing, or publishing. Multi selection within a group is not used in the Editor.
- Localize: In the Translation Job window, the criteria are used to select the objects that will be sent in the translation job. Both single selection and multi selection within a group can be used in the Translation Job window.
The values you selected in this filter are displayed next to the group name.
