When is a variant of the template created?
A variant of the Topic template is created if there are any Related Topics Group Headings in the template.
When is a variant of the object created?
A variant of the Topic object is created if there are any Related Topics Group Headings in the object. That is, the content in the field is not inherited from the template.
Recommended
Template: Translate the fields in the Topic template. Use a locale variant of the template; object locale variants will inherit the translated Related Topics Group heading text.
