Like many programs, Author can automatically save your work at regular intervals. That way, if anything goes wrong you don't lose too many changes. Of course, saving things yourself as you work with them is also a good habit to get into.
To set the auto save function:
- In the main window, select File > Author-it Options > General.
- Select Auto save all open objects, and then set the save frequency.
- Save your changes.
