Subscriptions & role limitations in Reviews

Reviews

This topic describes roles and how subscriptions are consumed and released during the review process.

Active Directory controls access to Author-it Cloud and subscriptions, which means you must be enabled/active to log in and use any Author-it Cloud services.

The number of subscriptions you have determines how many users of each kind can be made active.

  • Author subscriptions are consumed when an Author is made active manually in Author-it Cloud.
  • Reviewer subscriptions are consumed when a Reviewer is added to a review, provided they are not already active. For example, an Author does not use a Reviewer subscription.
