Options in the View tab display, print, and show groups let you display either the book's content or object details. You can also view object properties, relationships, and history.
Display
Details (Hide Book Details) | Available when a book is opened in the Editor. Displays the tab and the topic content in the Editor. Toggles between book details and book contents. | |
Details (Show Book Details) | Available when a book is opened in the Editor. Expands the navigation panel tab that currently has the focus. If the tabs in the navigation pane have been separated then preference is given to the Book Contents tab. The Book Contents tab displays topic information such as heading, template, modified date and user, object code, and variant criteria (if used). Toggles between book details and tab. | |
Ruler | Select the ruler check box to toggle the ruler ON or OFF in the topic. | |
Reset Panels | Available when a topic or a book has been opened in the Editor. The Editor remembers modifications to the tab layout; this option resets the Editor tabs to the default layout with the navigation pane on the left and the topic content on the right. |
History | Opens the History window for current topic. | |
Relationships | Opens the Relationships window for current topic. | |
Topic Properties | Opens the Properties window for current topic. | |
Book Properties | Opens the Properties window for current book. | |
Locate | Locates the current topic in the Folder list, and displays the folder's contents in the object list. The folder and the topic are highlighted so you can quickly locate them. |
