Users navigating to a Magellan site will typically find themselves on the landing page. The aim of this page is to help promote and direct users to the content they need, as well as provide a starting point from which users can be returned to from anywhere in the site.
The landing page consists of:
1. Logo |
Contains the Company Logo. The Logo is automatically loaded from the \images folder. You can choose a different image. See Customizing Magellan for more information. |
2. Navigation bar |
Displays all level 1 topics as defined in Author-it. You can choose to display more heading levels. See Customizing Magellan for more information. |
3. Title and subtitle |
These are entered in the books properties. |
4. Search functionality |
The search functionality is automatically generated. |
5. Rotating banner |
The Rotating banner is defined in the book contents. See Landing Page Rotator for more information. |
6. Content tiles |
The Content tiles are defined in the book contents. See Landing Page Content for more information. |
7. Footer |
The footer is defined in the book contents. See Landing Page Footer for more information. |
8. Toolbar |
Use this toolbar to set certain functionalities of the site. See Customizing Magellan for more information. |
9. Background image |
The background image is automatically loaded from the \images folder. You can use a different image. See Customizing Magellan for more information. |
