The Paste Using Import Profile option automatically formats text as you paste it into a topic. The formatting is applied by using the rules defined in your import profile.
Before using the paste option, you need to make the import profiles available.
Note: You must have sufficient permissions to update the Import Profile Properties.
To add the import profiles to the paste option:
- In the main window, choose Import > Transformation > Profiles.
- Select the profile you want to add to the paste option, and then choose Properties.
- Choose the Properties tab, and then select the Use For Paste check box.
- Save the changes and close the profile.
After adding import profiles, you can use the rules to format text as you paste it into a topic.
