You can open a Book object in the Editor directly from the folder or search list by using the following methods:
- Double-click the Book object
- Right-click the Book object and then in the drop-down menu click Open in Editor
- Select the Book object and use the shortcut keys CTRL+O (letter O)
You can open a sub book from the contents pane of its master book by using the following methods:
- Double-click the Book object
- Right-click the Book object and then in the drop-down menu click Open
Viewing topics after the book opens
When the book opens, the first topic listed in the contents pane is displayed and ready for editing.
When you create a new book (without any topics automatically added by the template), you can drag a topic into the contents pane and the topic is automatically opened and ready for viewing or editing.
If you open a book that already contains other items, you can open any topic by double-clicking on the topic or by right-clicking the topic and then in the drop-down menu choosing Open.
