Finish & publish for print

Content management techniques

After your content has been reviewed and revised, and you're ready to publish, you must still consider some final aspects. Most of these considerations apply to a printed output. However, you will still need to review and test your Web and Help outputs.

Printing and Publication

Consider your audience (and your budget), and choose an appropriate method and quality of reproduction, physical size, and packaging. A poorly photocopied document will all but destroy any effort that went into making it look good. For better quality and an affordable price, consider using a photocopy machine that will take electronic originals as opposed to paper ones. For large numbers of copies, it is usually cheaper to use conventional printing processes.
