Author's release state feature lets you keep track of where a document component is in its life-cycle.
- Select the object in the Library Explorer or book contents.
- Right-click and choose Change Release State, and then select the release state that you want to apply. Release states can be customized for your organization. You need the appropriate security permissions to change the release state.
