Uses for book templates

Book Content Duplication

A designer wants to make a book template that automatically reuses standard content but also allows the user to make duplicates of existing content to change for their specific book. For example a project document that has the same sections and structure but some content is specific to that project.

The designer decides the structure of the project book and which topics are reused across all projects, and which topics are included but the content of those topics can be different for each project.

The designer makes a book template that includes all the standard topics and sets their reuse and duplication properties as necessary.

The options available allow the designer to enforce reuse or duplication, or make it optional for the user to reuse or duplicate the topics.
