Create and Assign SYS_PUBLISH_REMOTE variable - Author-it On-Premises

A variable setting defines if a job is published on your own PC or managed by a publishing server.

If the publishing profile has the variable SYS_PUBLISH_REMOTE assigned with value True, the publishing server executes the publishing jobs for that profile. That means that you can easily combine local publishing with remote publishing: only profiles that have SYS_PUBLISH_REMOTE assigned with value True use remote publishing. This allows you to publish to Word locally and to web based training output with the publishing server.

1. Create the variable SYS_PUBLISH_REMOTE, List of Values type.

2. Add the value True.

3. Assign the variable to the applicable publishing profiles that use Remote Publishing.
