Controls That You Can Deactivate - Author-it On-Premises

You set the value of the ControlName property to specify the control that you wish to deactivate. The Author user interface controls that you can deactivate include the following.

• Ribbons

• Ribbon Groups

• Buttons

• Object list context menu items

• Book tree context menu items

  Note: All other controls will continue to function as usual. For example, you cannot deactivate the folder list, status bar, publishing console, Author-it button, buttons outside the ribbon bar, etc.
